Discovering Nature

Sitting in the middle  of the World's largest ponderosa pine forest has its advantages.  The diversity of the area sets the stage for cub scouts and their families to truly experience all nature has to offer. Running along the southern end of camp is Christopher Creek. It's a thriving riparian habitat.  The creek is lined with majestic Sycamore and Pine trees. Fish run the creek along with camps favorite critter, the crawdad.

Nature Trail

The Nature Trail is a great activity for the Pack, or families. The trail is very informative and shares  with campers  the splendid variety of plants, trees and animal activity at camp. Guides for the trail can be picked up at the Nature Lodge, Trading Post or Program Director's cabin.  Best part, you can spend as much time as you want learning the diversity of plants and wildlife at camp!
